Luther North College Prep gives students the opportunity to participate in a unique program that we call Winterim. Over the course of a two week period between the first and second semesters, students are able to enroll in some exceptional classes.

Thirteen LNCP junior and senior students had the privilege of participating in the Winterim trip abroad this year. The students traveled by plane from Chicago to Shannon Ireland, visiting Killarney, Dublin, Northern Wales, Stratford , Oxford and then on to London. Highlights of the trip included an excursion around the Ring of Kerry, kissing the Blarney Stone, visiting numerous castles in Wales, walking through Oxford, and spending quality free time in London. The students thoroughly enjoyed their guide Ailbe and enjoyed all the stories and knowledge he shared with them.

International travel allows students to learn and experience different cultures first-hand. It also provides an opportunity for growth from this unique learning environment. This is an experience that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
