Marnie Hamel joined the Luther North Board of Trustees three years ago to assist with accounting and finance, and she serves as the treasurer. She is proud to be a part of the board’s efforts to offer a quality Christian education to high school students in the Chicago area, and she has a high regard for all of the dedicated teachers and staff who educate, promote and care for Luther North students year after year.
Marnie has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and commercial real estate. She is the Vice President/Controller of Shorewood Development Group, a commercial real estate development firm specializing in retail projects in the Midwest.
Marnie graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia.
She attends Willow Chicago Community Church and resides in Evanston.
