Welcome parents! Whether you are new to LNCP or an old pro, we want you to know about the up and coming events that will be a large part of your child’s life over the next 12 months. Whether the event is something your child will be involved with, or an adult event that financially supports the school, we want to make sure you are aware of it, understand it, and can plan to be involved. We are all here as a community to support your child. Please make note of the following events, and direct any questions to the emails provided. Welcome aboard, we are glad you are here!
Sports Hall of Fame Dinner – October 5, 2012
A celebration of Sports Hall of Fame inductees, and presentation of new members. This event will be held at a restaurant/banquet hall in the Chicagoland area. Anyone in the LNCP community can support this event in various ways: Be on the planning committee, come and enjoy the fun, sponsor this event, donate items to this event, or volunteer.

Homecoming – October 6, 2012
Homecoming at LNCP is an annual tradition to welcome back alumni. It happens around a fall home football game. There are various activities included on that date. This year we will have a pancake breakfast, a craft fair, a homecoming dance for the students and other activities for the alumni. A Friday pep rally starts off the school activities with a coronation of a Homecoming Queen and King. A dance is held after the football game for current students. Alumni are invited to participate in other activities at that time. Anyone in the LNCP community can support this event in various ways: Be on the planning committee, come and enjoy the fun, sponsor this event, donate items to this event, or volunteer. Many volunteers are needed for this event.

Luther North’s 16th Annual Golf Tournament – October 7, 2012
Gather your foursome, or sign up as an individual and have a great time golfing for scholarships. It’s a full day of golf, food and fun, and all the proceeds support the school. Anyone in the LNCP community have an opportunity to help support this event in various ways: Be on the planning committee, come out and golf, advertise in the tournament program, make a cash or prize donation to the tournament, sponsor a hole, or sponsor a foursome or an individual golfer.

Fine Arts and Wall of Distinction Dinner – November 2012
A celebration of all that is Luther North! New inductees to The Wall of Distinction, are honored during this fun fine arts event. Listen to the current band and choir play, joined by alumni from years gone by. The current drama group will entertain you with some of their work, all while enjoying a wonderful dinner. Alumni that go above and beyond in areas of achievement are honored on the Wall of Distinction. This wall is in the main school hallway. Contact: development@luthernorth.org
Trivia Night – March 2, 2013
Tables of a maximum of 10 team members work together to try and answer the most questions. Questions are read by the quizmaster and an allotted time is given to answer each question. The questions are divided by category. Players bring their own food and beverages (this is an over 21 event). Dressing up by table/theme is encouraged and prizes are awarded for the most creative group. Event runs from 6:30 – 9:30 pm. Doors open at 6 pm to allow for table decorating set up. Fee is $170.00 for a table. Anyone is welcome at this event. LNCP community can support this event in various ways: Be on the planning committee, come and enjoy the fun, sponsor this event, donate items to this event to be used as raffle prizes, or volunteer. Many volunteers are needed for this event.

2013 Spring Benefit/Auction – April 19, 2013
This is LNCP’s largest fundraising event. This event underwrites a significant amount of scholarships to our student body. The event is a dinner event with entertainment and items for auction. Everyone in the LNCP community is encouraged to support this event. Each student family is requested to reach out to their family/place of employment contacts to find sponsors, or items for raffle or auction. Come and enjoy the fun, be on the planning committee, sponsor this event, donate items or volunteer. Many volunteers are needed for this event.

Luther Institute Reunion Luncheon – June 2013
A reunion luncheon for graduates of Luther Institute and Luther High School North graduates from the year 1953 through 1963. This luncheon is held yearly in June at a restaurant/banquet hall in the Chicagoland area.
