Jacob Runge has a passion for Christian education. Jacob attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Tinley Park, Illinois. It is there where the foundation of his faith was laid. Now as an adult, Jacob views Christian education as one of the greatest missions of the church.
Jacob attended the University of Illinois on the Charles “Chick” Evans Caddie Scholarship, where he double majored in Finance and Economics. He has been working in the trading industry ever since he graduated in 2006. He currently works as an electronic commodities options trader. In his free time he likes to volunteer, play 16″ softball and basketball, and watch Chicago Bears football games with his family and friends. He currently volunteers on the Leadership Council for the Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation. Jacob serves as the Athletic Director at St. Philip Lutheran Grade School and coaches boys basketball.
Jacob joined the Luther North College Prep Board of Trustees in 2014. His goal is to help spread God’s love to the students and families through education and athletics. Jacob also wants to educate the students about the Evans Scholarship and help them throughout the application process.
