The Special Services program is designed to help students with specific needs such as Expressive Language Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity, Social/Emotional Difficulties, Visual or Auditory Processing Difficulties as well as many others.
Students in this program are required to take a High School Strategies class each semester worth one quarter credit each. Additionally, all students enrolled in this program are required to have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan and must participate in the Luther North Summer School Program. Accommodations required by these plans are consistently and thoroughly implemented.
