Eric Bonatz

Eric is a director in the legal and compliance department at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., and supports the JPMorgan Global Derivatives Products Group. He concentrates on derivative legal, credit and business issues and manages a group of professionals that support this business. Prior to this role, Eric managed the Bank One Capital Markets Credit Documentation Teams in North America and Europe. He was previously employed for Salomon Brothers, Inc., in Tampa, New York and Chicago.

Eric graduated from DePaul University – College of Commerce. He is a graduate of Lane Technical High School and Jehovah Lutheran Church and School. He has three siblings that graduated from Luther North (Erwin, Fred and Linda Bonatz). He is currently a board member for St. Andrew Lutheran School in Park Ridge, Illinois, where he and his wife (Donna Bonatz) are members.

Eric is an avid outdoor sportsman and loves spending time on his farm and woodlands in northern Wisconsin. He was a cross country/track athlete in high school and college. He is a passionate Luther North advocate who loves to share his vision of a new, revitalized Luther North characterized by improved curriculum, strong fiscal management, and expanded development and recruitment initiatives. Eric believes in Lutheran/Christian education and is dedicated to seeing it continue and thrive in Chicago.
