Linda Lunt

Linda (Blackwell) Lunt graduated from Luther High School North in 1971 and attended the University of Wisconsin and DePaul University in Chicago where she earned a B.A. degree majoring in Education. She is employed by Community Unit School District 300 in Algonquin, IL where she has been a teacher in the Special Education field with a concentration in autism for most of her career. Previously, Linda spent 10 years with ADP Corporation as a Human Resources professional and as a corporate event planner.

Linda has a passion for Luther North and its mission, and wants to help promote quality Christian education and the development of future leaders. Grateful for the opportunities Luther North provided to her, she looks forward to joining Luther’s board, the administration, faculty/staff, parents, friends, and all who care about Luther North to secure its mission and future in providing a transformational experience to its students.

Linda strongly believes in contributing to charitable organizations and to her community. She has been a frequent speaker, has held numerous positions of leadership, and has been involved with fundraising activities with such organizations as the American Cancer Society, Algonquin Food Pantry and school parent teacher organizations.

She is married, and is the mother of three children and grandmother of twin grandsons.
