Jacob Runge has a passion for Christian education. Jacob attended Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Tinley Park, Illinois. It is there where the foundation of his faith was laid. Now as an adult, Jacob views Christian education as one of the greatest missions of the church.
Jacob attended the University of Illinois on the Charles "Chick" Evans Caddie Scholarship, where he double majored in Finance and Economics. Upon graduating college, he worked in the trading industry for almost 9 years as a bond and commodities options trader. In his free time Jacob likes to volunteer, play 16" softball and basketball, and watch Chicago Bears football games with his family and friends. He currently volunteers on the Leadership Council for the Western Golf Association Evans Scholars Foundation. Jacob also serves as the Athletic Director at St. Philip Lutheran Grade School in Chicago.
Jacob joined the Luther North College Prep staff this year. He teaches Christian Theology, various Business classes, Statistics, and Freshman Advisory. He will be an assistant coach for the boys basketball team. Jacob is also the co-athletic director with Mr. Dave Grim. His goal is to help spread God's love to the students and families through education and athletics. Jacob also wants to educate the students about the Evans Scholarship and help them throughout the application process.
